Established in Grundsund, Sweden in 1913, Didriksons was established to serve the North Sea fishermen in demanding conditions. It was one of the leading Nordic manufacturers of fishing and rain apparel in the mid-twentieth century and its factory in Sweden employed up to 800 workers. The factory produced fishing apparel that kept professional fishermen warm and dry in the extreme conditions of the North Sea, the Atlantic, and other cold sea areas. Now, a century later, Didriksons has returned to the sector it was once synonymous with.
